Donation Terms

These terms apply to every donation made through this website. Please read them before you give.

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Who you are giving to

Donations made through this website go to Panchmahals Adivasi Pragati Mandal, a public charitable trust registered under The Public Trust Act, 1950 with registration number E-512, working in Dahod district, Gujarat.

Donations are voluntary gifts

A donation is a voluntary contribution towards our charitable objects. It is not a payment for any goods, service, membership, benefit, preference or entitlement. Making a donation does not give you any right to direct how PAPM is run, nor any claim over its assets.

Indian donors only

PAPM is not registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010. We can therefore accept donations only from Indian citizens and residents, in Indian Rupees, from Indian bank accounts and payment instruments.

When you donate you confirm that:

  • you are an Indian citizen or resident;
  • the funds are not a foreign contribution as defined by that Act;
  • the funds are lawfully yours to give.

If a donation nevertheless reaches us that appears to be a foreign contribution, we will not apply it to our work. We will hold it aside and refund it in full, as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Choosing a purpose

You may direct your donation to a particular area of our work, or to the General Fund. We will apply your donation to the purpose you selected.

If circumstances mean that purpose can no longer sensibly absorb the funds, for example an activity concludes or is unable to proceed, the trustees may apply your donation to a closely related purpose within our charitable objects. We will not divert funds to something unrelated to what you chose.

A reasonable proportion of donations may be applied to the administrative and programme costs necessary to deliver the work, including compliance and audit.

Amounts

  • Minimum donation: ₹10.
  • Maximum single donation through this website: ₹1,00,00,00,000. For a larger contribution, please contact us directly.
  • All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR).

How payment works

Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway on its own secure checkout. PAPM never receives or stores your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials.

A donation is treated as received only once we have independently verified it with the payment gateway on our server. A success message in your browser alone does not complete a donation, and neither does an interrupted browser session necessarily fail one. If the two ever disagree, our verified server record governs.

If your payment does not complete, nothing is charged and no donation record is created. You are free to try again.

Receipts

  • Once a donation is verified, we issue a receipt carrying a unique receipt number and email it to the address you gave.
  • Please give a working email address. If the receipt cannot be delivered, contact us and we will resend it.
  • Receipts are issued in the name and address you provide. Check them before submitting, as corrections require a fresh receipt to be issued.
  • A receipt is not transferable to another person.

Tax treatment

We do not make any representation on this website about the tax treatment of your donation. Any statement about deductibility will be published only once PAPM’s current eligibility and the exact permitted wording have been confirmed in writing by our Chartered Accountant, and will appear on the receipt itself.

Please take your own advice on your tax position. Do not treat anything on this website as tax advice.

Your details and your privacy

  • You agree to give accurate information. We may decline or reverse a donation made with details that are false or that we cannot verify.
  • You may donate anonymously, meaning your name will not be used in any public acknowledgement. We must still record your details internally to meet our accounting and audit obligations.
  • We do not publish donor names, amounts, email addresses or phone numbers without consent.
  • Providing a tax identification number such as a PAN is optional. See our Privacy Policy for how such information is protected.

Misuse of the donation process

We monitor for fraudulent and abusive use of the donation form, including testing stolen cards and automated submissions. We may refuse a donation, limit repeated attempts, or reverse a payment where we reasonably suspect misuse, and we may report it.

Refunds

Donations are normally not refundable. The specific exceptions, and how to request a refund, are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Recurring donations

This website currently accepts one-time donations only. We do not set up any standing instruction, mandate or automatic recurring charge on your payment method. If we introduce recurring giving later, it will require your separate, explicit consent.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published at the time you donate is the one that applies to that donation. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

Governing law and grievances

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Dahod, Gujarat have jurisdiction.

For any question or complaint about a donation, contact the Secretary, Yashraj Damor, at papmgujarat@gmail.com or +91 93134 51246.
